The Worst Passwords People Used

Today we want to give you some information’s about passwords. We always protect our accounts by using different passwords. But sometimes we use really easy to remember passwords, which is used by thousands of the people around the earth. Password management organization SplashData publish a list of the most common passwords. The researchers of SplashData said the passwords on the list were leaked last year. “123456” and “password” is the most used password worldwide. These two are in top list from 2011.

As in past few years’ lists, Numerical passwords remain common, with six of the top passwords on the 2015 list is most used from few years.

Sports remain a popular password theme. While baseball may be USA’s activity, “football” has overhauled it as a general password. When it comes to movies and pop culture the most used passwords are starwars, solo, and princessas. All 3 terms are new entries on this 2015 list.

Researchers of SplashData said the use 2 million passwords to research and they get as usual result as same as past few years “123456” is most used worldwide. They also added if someone using the passwords provided on the list, they should immediately change it. Otherwise hackers get an easy access to your personal stuffs those who you want to protect.

 

SplashData offers three simple tips to help people protect themselves:

 

Use passwords or passphrases of twelve characters or more with mixed types of characters

Avoid using the same password over and over again on different websites

Use a password manager such as SplashID to organize and protect passwords, generate random passwords, and automatically log into websites
